As a Registered Voter in the State of North Carolina and as such
according to NCGS 163-87, I am a responsible party for detecting
voter fraud in my precinct, I am signing this petition to request that the appropriate measures be taken to maintain the integrity of our voting system.
By affixing my name to this petition I attest that I am for requiring a Photo ID at the poll that includes the bearer's name and address.
Given the nature of our society, an ID is required for health, social, education and banking serivces. Should we as voters not want
to protect the right of voting anymore than other rights afforded to us. In today's climate, not having a viable ID is not a reasonable argument to make.
I urge you to Vote for House Bill 589 and that these bills require all registered voters to provide Photo ID at the time of voting and their
residency address.
